I have frequently been asked what Glorpstiel is, how it came about, what is the point, etc. Here are some answers to that kind of stuff.> What is Glorpstiel?
Glorpstiel is an alien version of Castiel. There’s no “Castiel” in this AU because Glorpstiel is Castiel, just a different species. He was originally called "Alien Castiel", but I called him "Glorpstiel" as a silly name in response to a mutual, and I decided I liked it.> Who created Glorpstiel?

Nothing, really. I've been making alien edits on Picsart for over a year; I like green glorpy aliens. I have been hyperfixated on Castiel since Nov 2024, so it made sense to combine the two. It is not a reference to anything.> What is the point?
It's all just for fun. I originally made some silly posts because I loved the concept of alien Castiel, but then people responded well to it and started asking questions, and it inspired me to develop some lore and whatnot. Now it's a whole Alternate Universe.
Facts About GlorpstielGlorpstiel is a Glorpian (species) from The Glorpnet (home planet).He is green with antenna and black eyes. He has retractable wings that are sparkly and resemble butterfly wings. Like all Glorpians, his body is moldable a bit; he can somewhat alter his solidity, as well as his external shape. He can also change his size. He has four fingers on each hand, which includes opposable thumbs.He does not have control over hair length, though. If he wants it to grow quickly, he must coat it in butter.His antennae express emotion. For example, when he is sad/upset, they sag downwards.
He rubs them against someone (Dean) to show affection, kind of like a cat.His antennae have other purposes, too. He can detect emotion, smell and hear, and use echolocation.He is the Glorpian equivalent of a human male. His gender would most likely equate to demiguy/demiboy if he were human.He is gay.Most of his diet is pancakes. He LOVES pancakes, especially funfetti.He enjoys drinking apple juice.His first language is Glorpish, but he can speak all animal languages as well. He can also understand English.He enjoys being microwaved.His favorite human music artist is Bob Marley.
His antennae often move along with music.He enjoys forming crop circles in his free time. This is also done by accident when he's in a field and spinning around for funsies.He has autism. Yeah, he doesn't understand human stuff because he's from another galaxy, but he is also quite different from standard Glorpians in many ways.He snores like honk shoo mimimi.When it's very hot outside, he melts just enough to make him super sticky.Glorpstiel uses the Jeremy Renner app for non Jeremy Renner purposes.If he eats a CD, he can taste the music.Glorpstiel enjoys birdwatching, and the birds enjoy Glorpstielwatching.
DerpstielThere are two different versions of Derpstiel, as there are two different Glorpstiel universes.
1: Everything is the same except it is Glorpstiel the alien instead of Castiel the angel. Dean is a hunter, there are monsters, etc etc.
2: Glorpstiel is an alien, and Dean is an astronaut. There aren't monsters such as shapeshifters or werewolves on planet Earth.
> Many of the facts here apply to both universes. Those that don't will indicate such.Glorpstiel likes when Dean pays special attention to his antennae. They are very sensitive. It's kind of like how many humans like having their hair played with.Glorpstiel likes sharing milkshakes with Dean with the two straws in the same cup, but Dean likes having a full serving, so they end up needing to share two.When first learning how to write English, Glorpstiel thought that "Dean" was spelled "Deen". Now he writes it that way intentionally.Glorpstiel wanted to have Glorplings with Dean, so he laid on him to try to breed. Dean, though, does not have the necessary equipment to produce the eggs, so Glorp was just laying on Dean and staring intensely for no reason.Glorpstiel talks to Dean in Glorpish, and Dean responds in English. They understand each other while speaking their own languages. It sounds very strange to anyone around them.
It's similar to how Rocket and Groot talk. Dean never really "learned" Glorpish, he was given the ability to understand it after a bond & trust was established.Astronaut AU: When Glorpstiel first entered the spaceship Dean was on, the power malfunctioned.Glorpstiel was quite confused the first time Dean hugged him. He was worried it was some sort of attack.Glorpstiel initiated their first kiss, but Dean escalated it. It started off with Glorpstiel staring at Dean's lips and leaning in slightly. Dean is like, "are you gonna...?" and then Glorpstiel very quickly and gently pushes his lips to Dean's for a fraction of a second before pulling away. He was worried he didn't do it right and that Dean didn't enjoy it, but then Dean pulls him in and they make out sloppy style. YayGlorpstiel doesn't really understand how humans show affection, especially in the beginning, so one time he tried to eat Dean's pillow because he missed him and it smelled like him.Glorpstiel can sprout out tentacles. Dean really likes it.Glorpstiel plays whale sounds for Dean when he's sick, thinking the sound waves will help him.
GlorpiansGlorpian is the name of the species of alien that occupy the Glorpnet; they are the dorminant species on the planet.They are all green with antennae, and they can mold their shape a bit and change their size.Their genders, sexes, and sexualities are all spectrums, and all are seen as equal.There are six sexes; two are Glorpian equivalents of male and female, one is a combination of the two, and the other three are entirely different with no similar sexes on Earth.They have on language, Glorpish. It sounds like "Glorp zorp zooble veep" (and similar words), and it looks like ⏁⊑⟟⌇ ⟟⌇ ⏃ ⌇⟒⋏⏁⟒⋏☊⟒.Despite them not having problems with different genders and sexualities, they are NOT fans of species from other planets. Glorpstiel falling for Dean was quite frowned upon.Baby & young Glorpians are called Glorplings. They hatch from jelly-like eggs that soak in water, kind of like frog eggs.Their blood is called ichor, and it is shimmery/glittery.Their wounds are best treated by support by the opening rather than over it (directly under it above the skin to avoid it from tearing further down).
Shrinking can also make them heal faster when injured/sick because it takes up less energy.
The GlorpnetThis is the planet that Glorpians are from, Glorpstiel's home planet.There are several species on the planet other than Glorpians: this includes Glorpbees, Gluppies, and Canada Geese (though they're not called "Canada Geese" there).A LOT of the life there is green. One of the only creatures that aren't are the Canada Geese.There is low gravity, so they can bounce around and stuff. Yay
